How much money do you guys spend on music

On average I buy 2 cd's every 2 weeks, so about 8 cd's every month. Each cd costs between $10 and $17 so I spend about $90 to $100 each month. Occasionally I will download an album that I cannot find at any record stores in the area, free of charge.

Aren't there 4 weeks in a month? That would mean 4 cd's per month.

I usually get around 3 per month or around 40 bucks

i support gear shops, i do not support major record labels. so i feel good about my choices, and i sleep well at night while listening to stolen Radiohead albums...

the problem with buying music in bulk is I tend to not give albums enough attention and i miss a lot of good stuff. if i buy one or two cds at a time i can listen to it properly.

I like to support bands through either clothing or shows. Plus, I hate using actual cds when mp3s are so much easier and more accessible

Being on the internet, looking at all the CDs I don't have yet doesn't help either...

I'd say on a bad week, out of $160, I'd spend about $60-80, on a good week out of $700, I'd spend about $100-$200...

My money right now is going to paying off my pc and other bills.
I also plan to buy audio gear, guitars, etc...so my cd buying will be slow for the next two years. :/

I'd prefer to support my local gear sotre and support bands through shows and clothing, however, I enjoy buying CD's because it's much more enjoyable, due to songs on the CD I haven't heard, the label notes/pictures whatever, and the ability to show it off to my freinds.
