they were a pure black metal band at first, but they have developed their style, into something different, something that's their own, and make sure that they don't sound like everybody else, I think it was in a interview with one of the bandmembers he said "Everybody sounds like us, but we don't sound like anybody else" and if you're more into pure death.. look up the band Torchbearer.. same singer using his more brutal growl with fast pace music I would recommend the Warnments album
