why? because, as should be clear to an old-timer here like you, they didn't just offer opinions... they made statments and framed them as facts. and quite arguably nasty statements at that, and this type of behavior can in no way be confused with offering an opinion. yes, we all know it's just an opinion but that still doesn't stop negative opinions "clothed" as facts from lowering this forum to a level that is neither fun nor constructive. anyway, i hope this crap is over... and it will be if certain people will just be adult enough to say things like, "i don't like it, not my cup 'o tea", instead of the vitriolic name-calling and seemingly personal attacks on musical skill or production ability. What's so hard to understand about that? this whole "so-and-so sucks and is gay" mentality is not good for this forum... and i sure won't allow it on mine. i've been guilty of getting caught up in the madness myself the last couple days (and a couple times in the past) and i'm just not going to any further because this juvenile nonsense is pushing the "mental age" of this forum down to about 14. let's bring it back up people.
