I bought a gun today.

It's so fucked up man. Met a guy who was awake for 8 days (when I lived in MO). I can't even fathom staying awake for more than 36 hours (my record).

There is video (yeah can't find it) of a dude jumping off a 3 story bridge, breaking both legs and still attempting to run from cops. The only thing that stopped him was his legs were broken, but he still got up and tried to run ON TWO BROKEN LEGS.

There was another vid where 5 cops had a bastard of a time subduing a meth head.

Cooking it makes properties bio hazards and they can't really be fixed so most are abandoned or torn down because it's cheaper to demolish and rebuild than it is to clean up a meth cook house (if it doesn't blow up before they are caught).

While I'm sure everyone gets high differently, seeing that kind of shit makes me go "yeah no thanks."

Like I said WORST DRUG EVER. So glad they made it more difficult to purchase pseudoephedrine at farmacies (spelled incorrectly on purpose ).

Baseball bats and alarm systems are great, unless the person breaking in doesn't give a fuck about those things - which a lot of criminals don't. But you show me one person who isn't afraid to get shot and I'll give you a bazillion dollars. That's something a firearm has over any other alternative means of protection, the mere sight of it will scare most people off, you don't have to fire it.

I dig the .40 man. 9mm was a bit weak for my taste. Not only for stopping power, but, well...just having a fun round to shoot. I doubt you would have any issues. Where I work, all of the officers practically have Glock 23s (.40 S&W).

Now .22s, talk about the most non-fun thing in the world to shoot!

I've had my carry permit for about 16 years now and still can be found carrying the same pistol I bought used oh so many years ago - my lovely little Makarov .380 ACP that I picked up for the measly sum of $150.00. It's a 8+1 frame and works nice as a concealed carry pistol. Shoots straight as an arrow too.

Looks just like this one - came with two clips and the ugly ass holster that was immediately replaced with a nice mid back soft case holster.

If the government wants to take over their town and rolls in with the 1st Marine division, these guys clinging to their 2nd Amendment rights aren't going to stop them. We have the most powerful military in the world, but some people think that a couple of handguns and assault rifles will be enough to stop it if it's ever turn on the people.

The military is made of PEOPLE and when taking the Oath of Enlistment, one swears to support and defend the constitution and obey orders according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. For instance if the president told a person in uniform to shoot an innocent child, that person can say "no" and be protected. Ya, it's probably not going to be all pretty and heroic but it's set up to where one isn't ruled under a dictatorship like military. I can almost guarantee that if our government gave orders to turn on its people, military members would turn against them and use their own weapons to fight them off.

Also, you have very limited understanding of what people in this country actually do own and stockpile, for the coming revolution.

Good for you!!! Now get some training on using a handgun for self defense. There are probably some good classes at a local shooting range near you, many of these classes teach the legalities of armed self defense as well.

I've had two guys break into my home, guns in hand, threatening to kill me if I didn't tell them where the cocaine was that whomever (can't remember the name) had. Guess what, I didn't know the person and had no drugs. They where freaking out and looked like they had been up for days, obviously trying to get more. I was lucky to get away while they searched my closets leaving me unattended for a few seconds. Now the thing is, I had enough time to grab a gun if I had one before they cornered me. If something similar happened today, I would be ready. Not that I would want to hurt anyone but the prior situation taught me a good lesson. Shot them. Don't even ask questions, no warning, just shoot shoot shoot.

Yeah, that shit is fucked up man. I tried getting past 48 hours once, assisted with nothing but caffeine in the coffee I was drinking (I don't even like coffee, was just so tired that I didn't care how it tasted at that point and wanted to stay awake) and my body just said "ENOUGH! GO TO BED YOU ASSHOLE!".
I know a few people who have taken meth in the past and never became addicted, because they had the brains to only use it occasionally.
For the rest of the meth users (probably the majority) there is no hope for them. Idiot + meth = addiction.

I just can't even fathom how people without a background in chemistry take the risk and make meth.
If you know your shit, you'll turn out a good quality product without needing to cut it with gross shit and wont have to worry about blowing the damn place up.
But unfortunately almost all people who make meth are fucking idiots that don't know shit, hence the shoddy quality product and places blowing up.
But I suppose people do stupid shit to make money.
