I Mix too Hot, is this a viable solution?

Try this when you start your mixing session:
Put your kik (or whatever instrument you start with) at unity gain, then turn your monitors up until it's how loud you want it.
Mix at that volume.
ie: Instead of turning everything in your DAW up to get it "pumping and fucking loud" do it with your monitors. Mark the position, so you don't turn it down and then compensate by turning up your channel volumes.
It's so common to hear "It's so quiet, it needs to be louder, etc" and then you look over and see someone's volume knob at 2 on their monitoring system.
