I need the Nevermore guitar sound

Hi guys, I have some money to spend, and at the moment I have the G.A.S.
I like a lot the tone of D.H.I.A.D.W of nevermore, and I know that the guitar sound was Dual recto with 4*12 Marshall with 75.
I have the cabinet, but I have not the mesa.
My question is.....Loomis used the dual or triple?and if he use the dual is the 2 or 3 channel version?

2ch Duals are going to sound the best, regardleess, and the Racktifiers are even better.

way more less gain, more tightness.
Mine is a 94 dual channel, it slays, less volume compared to the new ones I may say.
Dead heart is a 3 channel, anf it slays as well, I always liked that guitar tone.

DEAD HEART IN A DEAD WORLD:
Custom Built 7 String Guitar loaded with EMG 707 pickups. The guitars were routed into a Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer that was used as a signal boost. The settings on the TS-9 were:

Drive: 9 O'Clock
Tone: 10 O'Clock
Level: 12 O'Clock

This was fed into the amp that was used on all of the rhythm and leads. The amp used was a Mesa Boogie (2 Channel) Dual Rectifier that was straight from the box. The Mesa Recto was routed into a Marshall 1960B 4X12 Cab with the stock 75 Celestions they have. Settings on the Mesa Recto were:

Silicon Diode Setting
Bold Setting
Red (Modern) Channel
Treble: 11.30
Mids: 10 O'Clock
Bass: 11.30
Gain: 12:30
Presence: 12.30
Master: 10 O'Clock

There were 4 tracks of rhythm, with 2 tracks being panned 100% left and right, and the other set being panned 80% left and right. There was no compression, limiting, etc…only a slight touch of EQ used. Two Shure SM-57's were used for recording, one on the center of the cone about an inch away. This was the approximate's denoted by Andy Sneap previously.

I'd say that it was an inch away from the other 57 - to the left or right of it, not an inch away from the cabinet and in the same place or something.

Nope, lol I heard it was a year 2000+ 3 channel jobby. Im kinda suprised the bass and treble were set quite that low. I have mine about 1 o'clock.

6 Iron for general purpose (that's what I use during lessons), something for chipping (a wedge) and something for putting. That'll keep you busy for a while. If you're new, it'll take a while before you're ready to use woods (take a lesson or 2 or 20) and you'll be more confident have the technique to use a wood. Woods are made from aluminium and are generally easily bend-able.

...........I hope you're not kidding as I'm clearly not In case you're not, get them custom made to your length (I'm getting one set and build them piece by piece instead of buying a stock set of expensive shit)

Dude, it's a good analogy... Look, I'd love Loomis's tone too, but it's not something I'm going to get overnight, and it's not something I'm going to get by getting a rectifier, etc etc....same with golf, it's all about practicing. it's not your equipment, it's you, your fingers, and your ears, and your determination.
