I saw Opeth today... here in Istanbul!

It was really amazing... they told that they're gonna come again soon for the damnation tour. the setlist was very short 'cos kreator and dio were next. it was:

godhead's lament
drappery falls
deliverance
a fair judgement
demon of the fall

it was an unbelievable 1,5 hours... and then after the show, while waiting for dio, i met peter and had a little chat with him... it was a great night. and if there are people on this board who still haven't seen opeth live... you have no idea what you're missing.

hey bayter how come they played only5 songs in 90 minutes??

i guess they played 8 or 9 songs here in like 105 minutes.. weird..

soundcheck was really long cos their plain from malmö was "fucked up" (mikael's saying) so they couldn' t be able to play with their own instruments. so 5 songs only.they said they are gonna come for damnation and play only the damnation songs + to bid you farewell, which has never been played live before...

ben giriş kapısının orda oturuyodum dio öncesi, bi baktım peter geçiyo allah dedim nooluyo, sonra işte el sıkışıp konuştum falan biraz... girişin orada gördüysen bendim.

extra bilgi: opeth havaalanında prosesörlerini çaldırdığı için az kalsın konsere çıkamıyordu. konserden önce zar zor bir pedal bulundu da çıkabildiler. elemanlar konserden önce sinirli ve moralleri bozuk bir şekilde vardılar mekana. peter kendi ekipmanı olmadan çaldı. ayrıca kendisi blind guardian da sevmezmiş. mikael türk seyircisini beğenmiş. ayrıca tüm konserlerde arkada yer alan ekipmanın bir kısmı pentagram'ındı.
