I finally read this thread and I have to say I laughed my ass off. If you move to a new country, learn their language. The fact is that plenty of crutches are used everyday for the illegal immigrants that come to this country. We (The US) are an english speaking nation, yet when Mexicans or whomever else come here they expect it to become the new and improved Mexico. No, sorry, but that isn't going to fucking happen. I read about all these things that happen in California. About how Mexicans come here and try to have protests/etc. about how they should be treated with respect and how they should have more rights as Mexican-Americans. They aren't Mexican-American, if they are here illegally, then they are Mexican and they only rights they have are the rights of man, not the rights of a citizen.

You are acting as if all Mexican immigrants are illegal. Without them there would be a lot of construction and cleaning that would be done slower. If all the Mexicans left this country parts would suffer, there was a movie about it. Maybe it'll change your xenophobic ways.

By the way if you are German or Irish or anything non English your ancestors probably came to this country not knowing the language and got the same kind of shit you are giving to the Mexican immigrants.

Also, I'd think twice about labeling someone as xenophobic, but I don't really feel like arguing with someone over teh internetz about that. Look, all I was really saying is that personally I'm sick of all these crutches being made for people who aren't techinically Americans and decide not to learn English. Yes, they may do some "dirty work" that most Americans wouldn't do. However, I think you're missing a lot of the bad things that go along with illegal immigration. I can understand your view on this matter, but I feel like if you go to a new country you should assimilate somewhat into their culture. Besides, it's not like when I walk down the street and see a Mexican I scream "GET OUTTA MAH COUNTRY."

Thats a good thing, at least you aren't like my stupid group at school who thinks every Latino is Mexican and every Latino has black hair, dark skin, and dark eyes. Some kids at my school are just racially ignorant, can't even tell the difference between a Chinese person and a Japanese person by looking at them.

Sorta true, but Japanese people are paler, a Chinese kid told me they are "the only white Asian" But in the colder parts of China people are paler. Japanese peoples noses are a different shape though.

I guess I've learned a lot of stuff by living in a diverse environment. But also I asked some Asians how you tell them all apart.
