Well, as for me, I find some of their stuff, especially Duncan's songs, rather upsetting, so if I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, I'm not sure it would help Temporary Peace and Pressure may help though.

Anathema had a positive effect on me. Many years ago, tired from working a shite job, I got upset and put Serenades on. It actually motivated me. This was a turning point in my life: I decided to go to University. It's been smooth sailing ever since :Smug:
I actually got mentioned in an Anathema Terrorizer interview (not by name). On the old Terrorizer forum, we used to post about Anathema, and the editor Nick Terry read one of my sentiments and voiced it to the band in the interview. They had no idea what I was talking about. I thought Judgment was all about breaking up & failed relationships, but apparently not.
