Your source was discussing 1941, where the winter delayed Axis advances but did not end them. The winter you're describing is literally irrelevant being that the Battle of Stalingrad was 1942, at which point Americans were supplying millions of tons of food and vehicles.

The Battle of Stalingrad began a year after our aid to Russia began. Before we gave them aid, Nazis were having their way with Slavs the way Turks and Kurds had it with you Armenian apes. Nazis were incredibly close to a complete victory, and the winter of 1941 was merely a setback. Suddenly they have food, guns, and tanks, and voila, Russia begins retake everything back.
