I just use a cheap electric. You can get away with that outside of the military. Really not a fan of the production and cleanup required for blades/shaving cream.

I feel like a lot of trans people get this rush of euphoria while transitioning, this sensation of feeling “correct” but once they get older, regardless of treatments and whatnot, genetics put them in a spot where they can’t hide they’re male any more. It becomes a burden caused by an irreversible decision you made really young in life because of a mental illness.

This has some truth to it I think. Also, because of the encouragement in progressive circles I think a lot of confused young people who are just homosexual or bisexual end up think they're trans and eventually figure out they're not. Pretty sure there are even some studies backing this up.

I don't like the rough 5 o-clock shadow look that using an electric shaver leaves, so I still use razors. Gillette 5 blade, no shaving cream (I just shave post-shower with warm water). The razors are expensive, but you can keep the blades sharp for a while if you hone them on a pair of jeans or a leather strop.
