I'm about to attempt to order a pizza.

Although metric is much more simple and easier to remember, I prefer the Imperial System of measurement.

Metric pisses me off because it's so step by step. Instead of being 6 feet tall, he/she is 1.85 meters (I think that's right). It's not a 16 gallon fuel tank...it's a 46.8 liter fuel tank. Measurements for smaller numbers aren't used as much as in Imperial.

I know the scale from 1-100 makes more sense, but fuck it anyway.

It all depends on your upbringing. They use they metric system here too and they can't get their head anywhere close to understanding Imperial measurements.

Ah, so I see you too have gotten that deer-in-the-headlights look when you tell them that one mile is 5,280 feet, and that we rarely convert things into yards unless we're talking relatively small distances.

Feet are almost imperative when trying to be precise concerning altitude.

Were we not talking about Pizza?
