You have to take a good look at your priorities. Is getting ahead in life more important or friends you most likely will not have in some odd years? I dunno I'm just sayin.

My priority would be to make money and be able to get home from work, relax, and MAYBE talk to my girlfriend before I'm too exhausted to do anything but sleep. The job throws my schedule of desires way off.

Steve - not this job, apparently. everyone starts at 8.25/hr, and there are $.25 or $.50 raises every year. no more, no less. it sucks.

Sure, I have benefits and all, and I'll stay here until I can find something a little better, but this is just stupid.

dude i work at an investment firm, where everything is laid back as long as you do your shit, no one micromanages you, youre free to come and go whenever you want blah blah..............and it STILL SUCKS. Work in general just fucking sucks!

It is always truly remarkable when someone finds a job that they throughly enjoy.

It's quite rare nowadays it seems. You just need to learn to live with it.

I did graveyard shifts for a year, and I had much more of a life than I do working 4pm-12am now.

Will, having worked midnight until nine a.m. in my little unique corner of hell since January, I wholly sympathize. Don't put yourself into any tight spots, but do what you can to get onto a more feasible schedule. Working nights eventually even starts eating away at your health I've found. I make twenty plus an hour and it still isn't worth it.

Because:

1. I don't do well in school. It's a proven fact.
2. It costs alot of money.
