In this thread I make grand declarations about food that are inarguable.

chupe, that reminds me of the food watershed in the late 80s/early 90s when everyone learned what cholestorol and such was

and the words FAT FREE appeared on the labels of things like bottled water, and people would get all excited and buy the FAT FREE brand of bottled water.

Bleu Cheese is horrible
This is going to be a long thread...

"Bleu Cheese is horrible" is a awfully vague statement. There are a number of bleu cheeses that varies in taste and texture. This gross generalization sound like a misinformed one.

mayonnaise is gross unless used appropriately, an instance which is rare
What is mayonnaise to you? Something General Foods or Kraft puts in a jar is not mayonnaise, its egg sub-products made to look like mayonnaise.

Gravad Lax with a touch of capre (home made) mayonnaise is hard to beat. There are dozens of other things to do with mayonnaise, as long as you actually have some...

Perhaps residents of Quebec have enough of that wholesome Canadian simplicity and friendliness about them to offset the French influence.

Let us not forget that Celine Dion is French-Canadian, though. She makes my soul hurt.

You can't blame all of us for Celine Dion, I don't keep americans accountable for other atrocities such as Kenny G and Barbara Streisand.

Some french are really annoying, rude and snobs, mainly Parisians, I don't think it is fair to say that all french are snobs. It is like saying that all Americans have a god complex.

OK OK hold on a second. Nationality bashing is stupid. Canada is wonderful and so is France. Just because mindspell is a snob doesn't mean that anyone should bash his country or anything ridiculously clichéd as that.
