Scott has said time and time again that he prefers Bush's voice to Joey. I have to imagine that sucks for both Scott and Joey but at the end of the day you make things work.

It's an odd situation though. The core of the band prefers a sound that didn't sell as well and so they go back to their roots more or less. Most bands newer sound is the the "sell out" sound. These guys go backwards to make money.
