Is anyone willing to do some reamping for me?

Right now I'm at university which unfortunately means my reamping tools are limited to a PodXT, or software amps. I'm mixing a band right now thats tracked everything themselves and has sent me the raw files. Basically they just tracked DI's as they aren't confident in their ability of micing up an amp etc.

I have uploaded the files to the FTP, in my folder. The band is kind of like Suicide Silence (so I have been told!), jfac I guess and other bands that are of that kind of scene.

I'm pretty much looking for them to be reamped through any decent rig i.e. Mesa/Krank/5150/JSX. Is anyone willing to offer some help?

I'm willing to help, but my amps will be out at another studio this weekend. What kind of time frame are you under?
Do they have an idea of how they would want to set up the amps?
+1 on the drum submix idea and vox if possible.

I had a quick go at it. On listening back now, it's quite Dark and Gainy. Because of this I have only uploaded a sample mp3 of them (RAW as recorded). Let me know if you want them anyway and I will get the actual tracks up in the next day or so.

If I get the chance I will re-reamp them and get them a bit brighter and less Gainy and upload the newer one's instead.

GuitarHack - you are definitely right about being slightly overgained and dark. If you have time it would be great if you could fix it - if not I'm sure I could work something out of these. I really like the character of your amp though, its got a really nice aggressive sound to it.

scottdh - It would be cool I think if you could run these through your rectifier and 5150 through your mesa cab. That way I should have tracks of Krank/Mesa/5150 which should play together quite nicely. The band hasn't tracked vocals for these songs yet, so I'm guessing they arent expecting me to send anything to soon.

Cheers GH, these are definitely much better sounding. Still got that aggressive edge to them. Any chance of sticking the WAV's up? I'll stick them in a mix ASAP.
