Is Lamb of God good enough to stay through fear factory?

If you don't really know them then just get the hell out of there after Bodom, but if you think about it you paid $25 for the whole concert, so you might as well stay through the whole thing.

Just leave after Bodom is done. It was bad enough sitting through Throwdown to see Bodom, and FF and LOG are both super lame as well, so there's really no point.

I paid $40 CDN for my tickets, and I felt like I got my money's worth, standing around during Throwdown, then thrashing my head off for Bodom.

I love Lamb of God. Absolutely love them.

The guitar work is technical as hell, just not flashy. Their drummer is incredible, and they're probably one of the tightest groups of musicians I've ever seen.

And what can I say about Randy Blythe? His vocal rhythms are so awesome, and they fit into the beat so well, I could just listen to his vocals and find a beat to headbang to.

And his lyrics are just amazing:

The fiends have gagged a generation of pacified fools
Bound by our greed a nation enslaved as corporate tools.
Arise and raze the legacy of their lies
To realize that this in itself is an ascension
Towards the day we revolt.
As the seeds you've cast away take hold
War will be born.
Rejoice, the age of the fall has begun
We'll dance as the palaces burn.
A shot gun blast into the face of deceit
You'll gain your just reward.
We'll not rest until the purge is complete
You will reap what you've sown.
My redemption lies in your demise.
In such a world as this does one dare to think for himself?
The paradox of power and peace will destroy itself
To know the truth and live in fear of no man.
To realize that this in itself is an ascension
Toward the day we revolt.
As the seeds you've cast away take hold
War will be born.
Rejoice, the age of the fall has begun
We'll dance as the palaces burn.
My redemption lies in your demise.
Rejoice, the age of the fall has begun.
We'll dance as the palaces burn.

LoG is a great band...if your opinion is anything generic sounding is not worth listening to, then you must have a very short list of metal cds...but LoG is not generic at all.

I stayed for LoG and just went in the mosh pit for their whole performance. I think it was worth staying for. If moshing isn't your thing, than I doubt it would be worth it. FF sucked, I just sat out for their performance.

what's up with all the Lamb of God hate? You must not like original guitar work, just watching their right hands alone is worth it. And Fear Factory was fucking horrible.
Couldn't agree more. I went to the concert to see both Children of Bodom and Lamb of God, Fear Factory was the only bad part of the concert. THey are the ones that really have no talent (except for MAYBE the drummer).

well if LOG is not good (in my point of view) FF is just so...shitty lol :P

Not a fan of Lamb Of God. Their music sorta reminds me of a less original Meshuggah. I really don't like the vocal styling and the songs are pretty boring. If you stood through Throwdown, basically their music is similar to Lamb Of God, but LOG has less hardcore stuff and a little bit of melodic thrash influence in the riffing. I got my ticket for free, so I was happy.

or is it better to leave after bodom?

well Im a big LoG and Throwdown fan, but honestly Children of Bodom owns that show. LoG is just thrash metal or grind core or whatever you want to call it. think of it as a more hardcore oriented slayer (but still metal) but without the many many solos. Randy has a very good voice, his growls i like a lot. but i just feel they that LoG didnt perform well live. but i still stayed and enjoyed. and for throwdown, well if your a metalhead you might as well just go to the concert late (even though they only get 4-5 songs).

the real question you should be asking is, are you willing to suffer through fear factories shitty set to see what LoG atleast sounds like? no one can tell you wether or not your gonna like a band until you hear it. besides you paid a lot of money for the show, might as well stay.

lamb of god are ok. fear factory are shit. throwdown are shit. i will simply leave or just do something else during fear factory, i might watch some of the mosh pits at lamb of god and maybe be in one... and by the way, lamb of god isn't very technical at all, its fucking easy to play and very generic and is simply just

100-----104---100
100-----104---100
100-000-104-00100

Ok, how bout this riff?
