I can only hope they succeed for the good of the region, because it seems the conflict has gone so far there is no turning back for either side. Nobody wants another civil war, although Hezbollah may have done these kidnappings on the chance of that happening.

I would never defend Christianity i was only pointing out that Muslims have Jews then Christians as there main focus and it will never stop.I think religion is a outdated concept and should be eliminated its self. Its just a sad situation right now. Israel has negotiated for kidnapped soldiers before, even with terrorist organizations. It seems like its Olmert trying to swagger around and show he has brass balls. Sharon's death happened at the worst possible time. I doubt if the kidnapped soldiers are even alive.
