its here ... YEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAA

Yeah got mine now hehe. Liking it alot. It's a bit spazzy. Wasn't sure on the first listen about some of it, but on second and third listen, it definately works. inside the partical storm is defo my favourite track. I like Icipher too as well as miserys crown.

Just got the trophy in the mail. It will be listened to tomorrow morning for sure, until then, the few tidbits I heard really made me happy.

More to come.

Ok, I want to share my Fiction-Experience:
I waited patiently for the official release date to get it legally via a store in Vienna. Since the official date (20.04.07) I 've been to most shops that offer at least a decent selection of heavy stuff. Guess what? No Fiction-Album and no other Dark Tranquillity Album either (own them all anyway, but that was strange).
Man, was I pissed off - this is Vienna, not the middle of nowhere!
So, yesterday evening I ordered it via amazon, it should be at my place this week.
AFTER i placed the order I downloaded the album, which finally was on my hard disk this morning.
I am listening to it right now. Not much to tell yet, but it "seems" to be a strong album with a lots of depth, maybe more than Character, more similar to Haven.
Regards, Dietrich

@Villain: Inside the Particle Storm is one of my favorite songs out of fiction.

Yeah, it's slowly becoming one of my favorites as well. Then again, Fiction appears to be filled with my favorites - usually, by this time, I'm able to tell which songs are more to my liking than the others, but with Fiction I'm having terrible difficulties to do just that. And I'm not saying the album is simply without lows (Character was like that to me) - it seems to be so full of highs that it's nigh imposible to tell which top is higher than another.

I'm listening to Fiction right now, just like I've constantly done for the past few days, and my feeling that this might be the best DT album ever gets stronger every minute.

I'm having the same "problem." I think this may even be better than the Mind's I or the Gallery. To me, that's scary.

Hmm, interesting reactions I must say, not surprising at all though. :) I still havent got the original, but Ill order it tomorrow, together with Laethora.

@anita: do you really think so? Wow, thats really scary. Imo, this would be true, if they managed to keep the album focused until the very end. I have already said that before, I like the songs, but they dont seem to keep me thrilled like the rest of the album. After Empty Me I usually drift away. But to that point the album is over the top.

It suddenly occurred to me that I don't legally own the album yet. How the hell I let this slide, I have no idea.

It will be rectified.

And yeah, when I first 'acquired' the album, I listened to nothing else for at least two weeks running, and I had it playing for probably about 5 hours a day. I got over-saturated after a certain point, of course, but now I'm back to loving it all over again.

Fiction is nearly running nonstop here either!

I just had to realize, that the song structures are quiet similar, or am I just dreaming that? I mean - Its Dark Tranquillity!

 I was going to buy it today, but I have absolutely NO money. I thought my check of pay was going to go through sooner (no direct deposit) and I won't have any money until it does.

At least I already know its an amazing piece of art. :)

To todrin: Listen to Inside the Particle Storm and try, try to tell me what song has a similar structure, just offhand. You can't.

i like fiction. but it doesn't beat haven. the keyboards on this record turn out to be a tad bit too baroque for my taste - while songs like 'the same' made me think of plotinus, the intro to 'misery's crown' makes me think of a disco. this said, the vocals are amazingly good, the lyrics are better than the ones on character, i will listen to this record over and over and it probably enters my top 5 dark tranquillity albums.

I haven't gotten it yet. Maybe tomorrow, or later this week.

And then there were two :p ( ).

Am I the only one who hasn't download it? :Smug:

I feel so jealous, all you guys talking about how great it is and stuff :Smug: , BUUUAAAA I want mine!!! :erk:

No really, it's starting to piss me of hehehe (patience Daniel, patience).

Btw, also want that cool poster that La Roque posted, is it like the standard one or what? Because if it is then i'll have it :headbang: (Niklas looks really handsome btw :) ).
