Gibson just keeps outdoing itself with stupid designs, this time blatantly sacrificing function for "form"...

I mean, at least it's shaped normally, and I do actually like the color and inlays quite a bit, but I really don't think a guitar with all those holes is gonna sound too spectacular...and more importantly, WHY OH WHY!??!?

On closer inspection, this is rather a piece of art than an instrument, it's:

- rare (check)
- therefore expensive (check)
- most likely to increase in value (check)
- provoking (doublecheck)
- of hardly any practical use (check)
- most likely to be owned by a filthy rich musician (probably... *cough* Lars!)
- not so much triggering my interest (yup)

I actually like this design.. not so keen on the headstock but i like the rest of the guitar quite a lot to be honest.
I'll never buy it though since it has holes in it
