Juicy Mids, or: half a million Earforce Clips

today I have a taste for thick and juicy mids....
I don't like the mids on most amps, too low=thin, too high=honky...
the only exception was the 5150, which can get honky as well, but the mids are so thick and juicy....
the only exception SO FAR.....cause that's exactly what I love about the Earforce, the mids are so chunky and very usable even when dialed in rather high.....
So today's clips are more of the chunky sort I guess....
I didn't want to post clips of the Earforce sounding like a Recto or like a 5150 or like a 2203 (it can do that!), but I wanted to post some clips that show the amp's very own character ... something that other amps can't really mimic

yeah, was going for that, lol.

listening back to the doubletracked stuff now...I should have dialed the amp in differently, didn't really tweak by ear, just set the knobs to random positions...but well...at least it shows some of the sounds it can produce

Ya double tracked you probably get too much mids but you can fix that in post

Either way that sound is HUGE!

not atm...but it's all handbuilt PTP, transformers are custom made as well...big things!

I'll try to take some gutshots soon...

edit: found this...it's a bit small though, I know ;9
