Just a quick question.

I am a really big fan of both V and Divine Wings of Tragedy. But, I really don't like any of Symphony X's other albums. Primarily because I viewed them as your typical power metal/neoclassical fare, which is a style I just don't care for. My question is, how does Odyssey compare to V and Divine Wings? I'm thinking of getting it, but will save my money if it is just your "typical" power metal album. Any help would be much appreciated.

Odyssey is the least power metal out of all of the SyX albums.

The Odyssey is anything else but "your typical power metal album".
And if you like "V" and "TDWOT", as stated, you cannot go wrong by purchasing The Odyssey. Those three combined, and you got the perfect albums for your taste.
