Just listened to Seventh Son and Sign of the Cross.

I don't know why I didn't see these songs there before. Doh! I guess would be the correct word to use!

I am really impressed with the effort that you guys put into those songs. I don't know how you guys do it. It has to be a huge amount of work to complete a song like Seventh Son.

Jim I like the way you sound on the low part on Sign of the Cross.

7th was not as bad as it may seem.

The bitch for me was the 3rd guitar solo.

Did you record 7th in parts like Mariner? Listening now Rabies, the 3rd solo sounds wicked!

Yeah seventh son was a mega nightmare to mix..... Recording was done in three main sections........

When i done the final mix...... i had like 30 to 40 individual tracks on n-track..... 3 drums, 3 bass, several wind tracks, several synths and heaps of indivdual guitars..... some panned...some central...... it was a nightmare......

When leveling...i could only playback like 5 or 6 tracks at a time before the cpu froze up.....so i had to level every phrase 1 at a time.....mute all the other tracks then move on to the next phrase....

Well worth the toils though....
