WHAT AN AMAZING NIGHT.
Gee this night had everything. Got there just in time to see the end of Raven Black Night's set (took 50 mins to get out to the gig dammit) and they were going off as usual. Donned my sword and pumped my fist.
Next up were Cauldren Black Ram... very sludgey thrash with an amazing drummer/vocalist. A lot of fun.
Then came Toxic Holocaut. The singer looks like he could be in the backstreet boys, but it was the most old-sckool thrash gig... everyone just pounding into each other and headbanging... a fight broke out in the pit, bouncers went crazy, glasses broke, blood was everywhere, OH MAN. SO MUCH FUN.
I'd never even heard of this band before... I just thought it was the name of the gig and I was going to see RBN for the first time in 4 months. SO MUCH FUN. Then our new Polish friend drove us home and we're going to meet up with him for Bodom on Monday night.
The gigs are a plentiful in Adelaide!
