I was looking forward to Kamelot. However, now I am really excited. I can't wait to see Erikson belt out "Fourth Legacy".

You mean New Allegiance? The Fourth Legacy is instrumental. Just sayin'......
Christina and i just texted - she found out about Roy just as she got to the Rush show
Kez ... you are getting old brother. Sorry to say but Darkone had it right.
Britt
Has anyone checked on Christina yet?!

You know, this was one of my first thoughts too.
I think she is at the Rush concert
I was just about to text her when I read your post and the ones above. Think I'll wait til after the Rush concert now.
Mixed emotions on the announcement.
First, damn glad they didn't cancel. They've shown real class and commitment.
Second, great choice of a replacement. Love his vocals and think if anyone can jump onto the Kamelot tour and make it work, it's Michael. They couldn't have done better in making a tough situation work well.
Third, I will be somewhat sad at not seeing Roy sing. Was planning on hitting two other shows (with Christina ) after ProgPower. Still, I think overall the best way possible to handle a bad situation. Please get well soon, Roy. Your health is worth more than anything else.

Awww, hope she has fun all the same.
We are such a hilarious group! I thought about texting her, but didn't want to ruin her Rush evening.
Michael states:
Roy and I go way back, so when he called and asked me to help him and the rest of Kamelot to do their long planned USA tour, I told him, Sure bro, I am there for you.
It will be big shoes to fill , but in his honor I will do my best to give the Kamelot fans a show they have long awaited. So grab your earplugs and come join the party!
FTFYBlabbermouth... Fuck those people.

I'd rather get excited about the prospect of seeing something we'll probably never see again than dwell on the disappointment.
