Kansas City Power Metal Fest 2008 now has a date, a home and some killer bands confirmed! KCPMF has just announced the confirmation of Wichita's MANILLA ROAD, North Carolina's WIDOW and KC's own ANCIENT CREATION! More bands and details to be announced soon!

actually he has stepped foot in the US for the millions of movies that he has been in. But musically, I doubt he would ever come over.

Still....Manilla Road isnt a huge draw as we saw at the Alehorn fest a few years back.

yeah... but his overall attitude towards the US isn't too good. the last time he was here for a personal appearance was in 1998, and he refuses to do another one over here. it sucks.

Hell, the airfare alone for band and crew would be over $10K.

what was his personal appearance for? film related? the man has a filmography a mile long....some classics and some clunkers. He was great in 1941 and any of his Hammer stuff.

That Rhapsody video really takes the cake...I have a lot of respect for the man, but when I saw him in that video, I kinda felt bad for him.
