Yup Steve Bentley from Darkside, he's been on the scene here in KC since mid eighties singing in bands and rocking out. Saw Ancient Creation up at the Midwest Metal Anthem at JJ Kellys in Chicago too. They do put on a good live show, should be interesting to see what else goes on this lineup.

Yes, Steve surely was in Darkside. He'll get a kick out of the fact that you noticed! He is also working on booking/promoting the fest.

Hi guys, I'm Jodi. Just got the date set for the fest recently, so we're in the process of booking bands at the moment. Yep, you're right...the page needs to be updated, and that will be coming soon.

I have heard of Manilla Road, but never really given them the time of day will have to check them out. Widow I know nothign about at all.

A Lower Deep is confirmed for Kansas City Power Fest to be held at The Riot Room in Kansas City, MO on August 9, 2008. Bands confirmed are Manilla Road, Widow and Ancient Creation, with more tba. We are really looking forward to playing this great event and meeting all the great Midwest metal fans.
