Ha, I knew someone would start this thread here sooner or later. You know the only thing I don't like about metal? How close minded most hardcore fans are, as this thread proves. Seriously, you all think you're hot shit by putting them down, but your opinions aren't any more valid than anyone else's. It's a matter of taste, it's that simple. Besides, Korn have a totally unique sound. How many bands can say that?

As for me, there is only one band that I like better than Opeth, and that is Korn. Now, I'm not even comparing them because the music is completely different but Korn has bee my favorite band for seven years now and always will be. I am very saddened by this whole Head thing.

Yea man I totally agree...I mean, Opeth wishes they could manage to make every song sound exactly the same on every record they make. Opeth may completely blow Korn away as musicians, but they still don't have the balls to put kvlt techno elements into their songs....

You know what I find funny...nu-metal kids on metal forums always insist that their taste for what is basically a lame, simplistic 3 chord, heavily watered-down version of 'metal,' is because they are simply "openminded individuals that enjoy music from MANY genres such as nu-metal, rapmetal, metalcore, thrash metal (post-AJFA Metallica)." Right...liking 4 crappy sub-genres in the vein of hard rock makes you extremely openminded, douche.
