Layered drum sampling: a brief question

View all your kick samples in a new project and cut all the transients pre-roll the same length. When using more instances of any trigger vst, always put a plug-in with a phase flip between them. Flip it til it sounds right. Just my workflow... The internal phase button in drumagog sucks.

Thanks for the tips guys it's been a great help!

So I'm trying to trigger drumagog from MIDI now, rather than from the audio that was coming from Metal Foundry. It's reading it ok but dropping the beat every now and then, getting a bit... muddled. Any pointers? Like on fast rolls it's missing a hit here and there
Did you know you can layer snares within Superior using the x-drum feature (which is what I have been doing lately and it rules)?

Yeah man! Awesome feature, but it's not the snare I've been working on lately, it's the kick. It's ok I think I'm happy with what I've got, it's just a case of weeding out a well produced sound with it, but I'm getting there.
