Let's be honest

I'm blown away every time I look at his list of credits. So many albums I listened to before I got interested in production at all, then I look down the wikipedia page and pretty much every single album that has stuck out in my mind as "damn I remember when I first heard that shit, the CLARITY" is there. It's unbelievable how he's produced such a wide range of metal, yet nearly all of it is up there in my top albums list. And as for the usefulness of this forum; I've only been here a matter of months and still learnt more than I could ever have hoped to. Thanks to Andy, and all the regular posters for creating perhaps the most useful and friendly forum on the internet.

I'm surprised not more has been said about the new AE disc, I can't wait to hear it, especially with Andy mixing once again!

Praise to THE man!! :worship:

Andy was the Mixer that most influenced me.

And this forum is golden. The best one. It was a pleasure to see this grow since almost the beginning. And I learned a lot from here.

Too bad these days I don't have much time to spend here as I used to. :erk:

Thanks Andy!!!!!

PS: I'm looking very forward to hear what will come out from Andy's more "analog" approach to mixing

Yes, praise to Andy. :kickass:
What I like the most about his mixes is that they are really mixes and not just good sounding individual tracks stuffed together.

I love his mixes, and I can only hope to be a quarter as talented as he is, or many that post here are. Good news he is doing the new AE. I would love to see him get his hands on other bands like Slayer or even Metallica---just to see what he could do with them
