Been in the broke ass music biz for 5 years as of next week. I always said I'd only do this for 5 years, so it might be time to go back to construction and forge a viably boring retirement plan instead of this low pay / high stress crap. It'll be just like when Homer left his sweet, sweet bowling alley gig:

EDIT: What I really want to do is keep on with my current circus freak show job, but start volunteering for the US Forest Service until I can turn that into a lucrative gov't job before I hit 40. Then work for a decade or two within the woods and have a decent retirement with enough time left to enjoy the relaxaction. Proof that I'm getting old is that the lure of Mo' Money isn't for a new car, bigger house, or more fuzz pedlolz. No, I just want to maintain the feeble existence I've built my life around, but with less debt and more long-term savings. Fucking pinkage!
