ive got a mackie satellite atm, this looks quite tempting....and apparently you get pod farm platinum for free which i heard great things about

yea, they're good, i've got one!

yup, podfarm platinum for free too. its OK, although i prefer revalver now (onl just started using it though)

8 ins and 8 outs for not that expensive, with free amp modelling, its pretty good!

how come you prefer revalver? i played with the demo which is quite cool, but havent been able to try pod farm demo (no ilok)

my problem with revalver, i think it has too many options, and you have to tweak quite a bit to get decent tones, is pod farm the same?

i'm not quite satisfied with my sounds from gearbox, is all. there are some people that have got really good results though, and there are a lot of people that use this plugin.

Considering though, that you get bass amp models, vocal pre-amp models, and quite a lot of other effects, its quite a good deal.

also, if you just get revalver, you'll have issues with noise, if you go straight into your computer sound card, so you'd need to buy some sort of interface anyways, i'd think!

nah, i have an interface already, a mackie onyx satellite, was thinking of upgrading
