Lioness's Jaxx Diaries, Chapter 616, May 7th. 2006

It was a misted grey day in Virginia, Outside of Jaxx at 4:30pm, when I pulled into the parking lot I could already see a bunch of NeverBoarders waiting outside.
(I’m glad you know now I wasn’t just staring at you from my car guys, I was really talking on the phone with my job haha)
I walked inside the venue, saw the sound check, and met MetalSteph (I did fondle her ass first, I must say.)
7PM the doors are open, and the NeverBoarders are running inside to catch the front row.

First Band: Apothys, very good local band! It was my first time seeing them live- good job guys! Looking forward to seeing you guys again at Jaxx! And next time, I’m taking pictures for sure!

Second band: Division. Great guys, great music! Yes, Mike you guys are melodic Thrash I really enjoyed their show, good songs, great live band, I’m happy they could make it to this show!!!

Now Evergrey is definitely not my favorite band out there, but I always
respected them for having keyboards and knowing how to have the "right amount" of key boards in their music.
I have to say, I did enjoy their show a lot. Definitely one of those bands that
I doubt it if I'd enjoy on a CD, but I like seeing live.


There was a marriage proposal on stage too!!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting General Zod, his lovely wife, and Dark_One!
was fun hanging out with you guys!

Tommy: pictures with the polish legions shirt coming right up, it was too hot in the venue!!

Then, Nevermore came on stage… now first of all I must say how happy I was to see Jim
At the show! It was a great surprise and again, thank you for flying out for this show Jim!
I wish Steve was there too… all the best wishes for him for his health……….

The show was simply…. Breath taking. Those guys are in my top 5 for a reason!
The sound was fantastic, Chris was excellent replacement guitarist!!!! (two thumbs up Chris!) and everybody was just great on stage!!!
I loved the guitarists jack –off between Jeff and Chris, it was awesome!
And Poison God Machine…. Ahhhh that was so great!
Nevermore is one of those bands that can never bore me… I can see them play Necro
4000 times and I’d still enjoy it every single time.
They just look great on stage and they give a hell of show!

Set list: (Although Warrel forgot Acid Words, and they played it later
so the songs are not in the right order)

I could only see Will and Elis in the front row, and they had a blast!
Warrel was communicating with Will all the time, that was cool
And MetalSteph took plenty of great shots from the stage (and did a better job with the pics I’m sure…. )
