So yep, my brother and I are writing a concept album based on the album "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy. Here is an intro we've been working on.

Drums are AD
Guitars are.... ? Can anyone guess?
Bass is fretless, sounds pretty cool, especially at the end.
Strings are Edirol, soon to be EWQL after we're done writing.

Haha, just kidding. I think the vocals can come down a little as they overpower what's going on. And what's going on is worth listening to!

Vocals overpower everything. I think you should put guitars a bit more upfront as well as the bass. And that double kick at the end... haha
