There is a little mistake on the phase of the 2 guitars.
Yeah you convinced me.
This mix has this strange phasey sound on the guitars already, and when you switch it to mono (with VLC media player for instance), the guitars almost disappear.
It's weird to have phase problems between left and right though. I'd expect phase problems on one side (if quadtracking or dualtracking combined with dual-miking).
@CannibalBarnes : how did you record those guitars ? Did you use a different mic or mic position between the left guitar and the right guitar ?
