Who is this Myles guy you speak of? I wish I'd gone to see Slash. I've only heard great reports.

Myles Kennedy is Slash's touring vocalist, and sang on 2 songs on the solo album. He is the frontman for Alter Bridge. Awesome vocalist, awesome band.

I saw Slsh in Sydney last week.
Was good. Civil War was the highlight

Myles sounds a lot like Axl. A lot.

Juke Kartel were a pretty good opening band too,.

There is some songs on there Rob but not the best selection from their 2 albums IMO. I look forward to their new one out soon!

i think it's a genuinely GREAT rock n roll record.

tbh i wasn't even that interested in checking it out, but my friend asked me to go to the concert with her so i said ok. Got the album like a few days before the concert so i'd know the new songs and enjoy the show.

didn't really expect to LOVE the record quite this much but yeah it is VERY very good IMO.

I both agree and don't really think so.

Rod Jackson and Eric Dover both sounded fairly similar to Axl with Slash's Snakepit but I wouldn't say either of them are particularly Axl-esque in general. Even the Wolfmother vocalist (can't think of his name) sounds reminiscent of Axl in By The Sword, and wouldn't have even remotely compared the two otherwise. I think it's easy to join dots that aren't necessarily part of the same picture when someone's singing with Slash.
