I think it's kinda similar to a situation of mine. Two of my best friends are a couple, and she and I are each others confidant(e)s. So we both understand the gross realities of each other relationships, and I think I've unwittingly set up a life raft. Everyone trusts everyone, but people tend to talk about this friend of mine and me as a pair. It's weird. I dunno, man. I'd definitely hit it if we were both single.
Yeah, that is pretty much the exact same situation I'm in. I don't even have anything in common with her but she acts this way around me whenever we're together and we're more close of friends than I'm comfortable with at this point. I don't think my friend has the slightest clue and sometimes I get the impression that she is trying to get us to fight over her. I don't know man, I'd totally hit it if I hadn't been friends with the guy for 14 years.
