Thought I'd try to match the tone on Unearth's Sanctity of Brothers @ 2:11 using my Cobra and a Cab Impulse.
I found an impulse 24a that is somewhat close and then I used CurveEQ to create the difference between my recording using 24a and the CD at time=2:11. Then I applied the CurveEQ to that cab impulse 24a and created a new impulse 35c.
Now for the tone... I record, take a DI from my Cobra and apply the impulse 35c and Voila...

You'll need to be able to compare to Unearth's Sanctity of Brothers at T=2:11 the Left Stereo Channel
