Materia Cover Artwork

i have always loved this band but hated their scribbled logo.

the new one is cleaner and has a nice minimalistic vibe that gets the Novembre point across. nice.

I don't like the current logo so much.
The one you mention for 'Classica' was beautiful for real, but I still prefer the very old one from 'Wish I.../Dreams D'Azur'.
I like the child, the waves, the shore... but don't like that buildings so much, it reminds me too much of another band's cover. Can't remember the name, it's from Sweden, and used exactly that kind of buildings for the background.
Well, shall see the rest of the artwork.

Travis confirmed it, it was he who designed it! Check this out:

Seems like Trav said:
Yeah, I did that one. Thank you. It was one of a few ideas I tried. There was another main one and a few alternates and that was the one they liked. A few others made it into the booklet. i tried a few different versions of that one too, but they preferred the posted one. I love this band and the new album is on my permanent all time favorites list.

btw, here's the cover in bigger detail:

Now that I've listened to a few seconds of 'Aquamarine'... well, I'm changin' my opinion regarding the cover and I find that the few words I can understand from this song, even fits the artwork.
Someone of you here wrote that the Carmelo's singing reminds of Lord J. from KatatoniA... I think that the cover instead reminds of 'VIVA EMPTINESS', bcs of the standing child on the shore, while Katatonia had the baby-girl walking along the street...

The artwork is OK but not nice like Dreams D'Azur or Novembrine.
And yes, is too similar to Katatonia VEmptiness, I wish the music is not at all.
