Megadeth Apretiation Thread

Megadeth > Metallica

Faster, heavier, more technical, generally cooler, and Dave Mustaine has great hair :D

I love Cryptic and Everything before it .. Megadeth was a seminal band in my Metal Development I even really like "TWNAH" but for me without Ellefson its NOT Megadeth ... possibly "The Dave Mustain project" or "Megadave" or "Dave Mustaines Deth Mahal" but its not Megadeth

Megadeth kicks ass.... except for Risk & about 75% of Cryptic Writings.

Most of the MD45 album was pretty good too (I prefer the Lee Ving version over the Dave vox version).

Megadeth is awesome. At first I really liked Rust in Peace the most, but more recently I've really been able to appreciate Peace Sells more. Its an aquired taste, though I really love the three that I have (Peace Sells, Rust in Peace, Countdown). I'm thinking about getting some other ones, though, especially KIMB. How does So Far so Good compare to Peace Sells? As far as new Megadeth, 99 Ways to die is the only one I really like... though I havent heard much of the newer stuff like Cryptic Writings and Risk, they dont sound too good.

Megadeth kicked total ass from Killing Is My Business to Youthanasia. After Youthanasia, they went downhill, Risk being the peak of their shittiness. The System Has Failed is probably the best album they've released since Youthanasia.

Cryptic is an Excellent album ... Particularly "Use the Man" if you have ever been an Addict you will know why that song means so much ... "So far ... So Good.." is Classic you shouldnt even ask just get it!

First saw Megadeth in 1990 opening up along with Testament for Judas Priest. Have always liked Mustaine's writing/vox and who can resist Friedman's riffs! Too bad he is calling it quits.........
