I hear Darkthrone since 91 and I think it sucks the major time (yeah, I'm one of those guys who thinks that Panzerfaust was their last great album and TOTC, FOAD and all that punky shit sucks IMO).

If you didn't like FOAD, this one won't do the miracle.

I would say it's metal. But it doesn't have a metal mood/atmosphere. It's all happy and upbeat, in large part due to those awful, cheery harmonized vocals. It would be at least a little better if it had death metal vocals. I must say that the musicianship is still excellent. Just not my cup of tea at all.

Re: Deadlock...lol a combination of techno and rap. Sounds to me like you don't like when bands do new things. I admit the rap part in Deathrace is just about the most retarded thing ever, but the rest isn't that bad. I thought Wolves was pretty dang good, it has some awesome songs.

But with Manifesto they have gone too far, I regret, but their "new things" sound like shit. There is many bands that, actually, sound pretty good even when they change their style. But not in this case of Deadlock. I'm sorry.

Ah, I see. I thought you just outright hated them. I still think the trance part in End Begins is sort of random, but it's better than rap imo.
