I've always been a progressive guy, and this is just an awesome album. It has it's touches of Opeth, but overall the originality is noticeable and kickass-able.

Its a painting by Gustave Doré called The Raven and Nychts used it back in 2007 on their unreleased demo, so Nychts have been using it longet than Anaal Nathrakh. Its a cool pic so im glad they are using it.

I know its not original artwork made for either band. Still unfortunate that people choose to use it and so closely related in time. It was the same thing when Machine Head released "the blackening" and some othe rband also used the same artwork around the same time. Just bad choices according to me regardless of if the art is nice or not.

And they have done quite a good play around on the album cover with the old "Salems lot" movie poster artwork. Looks good.

New Atheist is not bad, I'll give it a couple more listens. The first track, Second to Sun is pretty crap (as we all know) but the album does get better.

Lots of bands have used Gustave Dore art NYCHTS is way cooler than Anaal Nathrakh anyway!
