Well that track doesnt suck completely, Its just boring and I dont know why and... weird, weird forced melodies and vocallines. there is nothing on the album that made me go WOAH AWESOME like every Opeth album up until Heritage used to even on first spins.

I fell asleep.

My thoughts exactly. Very forced and unnatural, not in a wacky avant garde way either. Which could have been what they're going for but sorry Opeth can't do avant garde.

Well.. The first track they released, Sorceress, is pretty damn good, and the reviews hinted at return to old style, it gave me hope. I guess gullible I am, Master Yoda.

The new Dark Tranquility single surprised the shit out of me. Great song.

At first I was put off by the length - the record basically ended before it started - but now I like it. Especially in light of the recent 70+ minute blast of sound by Allegaeon..
