Metalcore

I like some metalcore but All That Remains are terrible. Some of my friends force me to listen to that shit in the car. It's pretty much torture.

I haven't listened to all of these bands yet, so I can't confirm that they're really metalcore, but they were labeled "melodic metalcore" when I downloaded them.

- After the Eulogy
- Alcina
- As I Lay Dying
- Dead End Circle
- Edenshade
- Fear My Thoughts
- Killswitch Engage
- Tears from the Sky
- Trivium
- With Passion

I've listened to all of these, but some of them are kind of ambiguous between deathcore and melodic death metal.

- Abigail Williams
- Becoming the Archetype
- The Black Dahlia Murder
- Chain Collector
- Darkest Hour
- Lamb of God
- Light This City
- Thine Eyes Bleed
- Through the Eyes of the Dead
- Winter Solstice

Fear My Thoughts is actually good melodic death.

I don't really like any of the bands in either of those lists but all of the bands that you already listen to are better than the stuff you just downloaded. =p

Kataklysm's old singer. He was in Kataklysm up until Temple of Knowledge, which was their last album with him.

Sylvain Houde is right out of his mind, or at least his style sounds like he is. Those are some of the most extreme vocals ever IMO. Not because they are extra low or whatever. But just because he was all over the place like a maniac!!

Oh yeah dude, especially in Temple of Knowledge. However, his vocals are less chaotic on Sorcery, and much more beastly too.

i love how bands like agnostic front and chimara and such dress up all hip hoppy and jump around in thier music videos, so that its kind of like they are being posers to both metal, and hip hop.

oh, and all that remains is cool. six= hardset song on guitar hero 2.
