mikes got a grammar error

^ + ^^, actually my academic english writing lecturer always used to say that "due" should not be used instead of "because". I don't know, apparently this usage is so common that it's useless to keep saying it's wrong. But well, it adds to the irony.

Did you know that during the Californian gold rush, gold miners threw out thousands of tons of blue/gray ore which later turned out to have been silver?

Last time I looked, grammar could only be used as a noun, and not both. Not all nouns can be used as adjectives.

Well said. In this case "grammar" can in no way be used as an adjective. An adjective is a descriptive word. You cannot say, "That is a completely grammar error" without having a gramatical error in the sentence.:D

I can't believe this morphed into a three page scholarly analysis on correct sentence structure. Whoever said the internet was only good for criticizing movies and watching porn was way off.
