The blue guitar, with the birds in the nech, that Mikael plays on, which guitar is that?

a few years back, Opeth was granted a sponsorship deal with paul reed smith. youll see them using these almost exclusively, occasionally they both use gibson les pauls as well. i find PRS to be the most versatile electric guitar on the market. theyre expensive, but well worth it in the end. they can achieve a gibson like tone, all the way up to a fender type tone.

PRS are the best! I got mine and I fell in love with it. My others are collecting dust. The only bad thing with PRS is that they don't make lefty's anymore. God, I HATE being a lefty!!

on a sidenote: mikael and peter are 'used' in laney advertisment...i found that kinda interesting. it was a lanay vc-30 and i think they never used that one.

about prs guitars: well, they are surely among the best looking, best sounding and versatile guitars out there. i dont one one and i will not buy one in the next 3 years but i surely will get one some day!

nice guitars, nfu...i'm a gibson fan; i have a les paul classic and sg special, but i've been thinking i might look at prs when i acquire the necessary funds
