i just bought still life...my first opeth cd. listened to it several times last nigth. mv is a great song and i really dig the moor, benighted.

Moonlapse Vertigo has got to be one of my more favorable songs. Ever since I heard it, I was enchanted, and simply haunted by this song! I had to hear it whenever I could!!! Okay thats enough opeth praise for now...or wait...can there ever be enough Opeth praise? 
eddie'slittlegirl - wow, still life was my first opeth album too. and i think i'll always retain a special soft spot for it. it's an amazing record.
apostleintriumpth - "enchanted" is definitely the right word to describe the feeling evoked by moonlapse vertigo.

miraculously, most of it seems to be within my range too.

I want to add that Still Life was aslo my first purchase and I listen to it the most. I think I haven´t consumed to all to the fullest so the other 4 are kind of waitning for their turn in the player, they have gotten a few spins but nothing like Still Life

Not like Still Life? Those people need to be shot! I got Still Life first also and I love it the most. I actually have never heard a band that can reach that greatness. MV is amazing. I love that song so much. I cant express how much I love it. Ive heard that song and CD so many times Its probably gonna wear out soon. And I just bought it 6 months ago!

When you compare April Ethereal to anything else they have ever done ,,, you realize that it's there most different piece of work ever ,,,,,,there's just something about that makes it stand out in a weird way ,,,

yes, i have just become an official Opeth fan. MV is excellent along with Benighted...actually the entire cd is commendable. I live in Dallas.

Whoa! You have great taste. I love Benighted. Its what got me into Opeth. I just had to learn that song on guitar. I love playing it at night in the dark. Too bad I cant sing it too well though (and singing and playing that song is a bitch!) lol
