Its really hard to pick one song from Still Life.
I kinda think all Still Life songs are more or less at the same level.

Moonlapse Vertigo? Just like The Moor, Godheads Lament and Serenity Painted Death is one of the top songs of Still Life but far from being my favorite Opeth Song.

The first two minutes (exactly) and the last two minutes (roughly) of Moonlapse Vertigo is some of the most moving music I've ever heard. During the intro, you've got those soooooarrring electric guitars going on, and just when I think it's the best thing I've ever heard, the acoustic comes in with a countermelody and completely fucking owns the shit out of my ears. Holy shit that song is great.

Moonlapse Vertigo is basically the only song off of SL that I listen to. None of the others caught my attention at first, and none since then. Maybe it's the title.

This song gets overlooked. Quite frankly it's the only song I can stomach from Still Life these days.

I agree wit chya, best song on the album, but the album stinks compared to the others.

btw for the person who asked:

CXIIV is roman numerals but its actually written wrong. it'd be:

100+10+3 however 3 should be III not IIV. that causes confusion as to if its C X IIV or C XII V which would be 100+12+5. so its either 113 or 117, why the person included it in the title i have no idea.
