Most anticipated albums for 2007

what about the new songs on their site? I found they can really grow on you.. they have an amazing ability to create powerful atmospheres and personally I think they have taken themselves into an almost showgazing style of music, not quite like Slowdive but similar ideas.

Yeah, the official announcement about the title and releasedate was made only this month, but already for months it was known there would be a new album in the 1st half of 2007, first there was news that they signed to Roadrunner (for Europe), they 'road-tested' the entire new album on their tour in the fall (which also came to the US) etc.

Yeah, me too, I know they can do it, but we're gonna have to wait and see..
 
Yeah, Tinus. I think I had just forgotten that they were making a new one for this year.

I forgot that there's going to be a new Nine Inch Nails! It is already recorded, actually. Definitely looking forward to that.

Yep, new Portishead indeed! Probably late 2007 though. About Tenhi, I heard they'll release the third Airut chapter, but I'm not 100% sure about this. And yes, I heard Ion! I bought it from Equilibrium when it came out. Phenomenal record, very much in the vein of Patterson's "Line of Fire" from Planetary Confinement.

I saw fall of troy the other day live and all I could think of was such a waste of talent. The singer guitarist could be amazing but he wastes his talent on noise. Seriously such annoying noise that I had to walk out on their set.
 
How could I forget...Can this be Dawn's golden year to put out an album?

Slaughtersun is a black metal masterpiece...very much overlooked. I suggest everyone get it...somehow...it's rare. Though there is a 2cd collection out there with most if not all of their discog.

THIS HAS TO BE THE YEAR!!!

Excellent!
In the vein of "Line of Fire", huh? That's what I want to hear! I have it on order, and am greatly anticipating its arrival. I listened to ALL the samples on the end records and was instantly hooked.
