Most Brutal CoB Song?

Halo Of Blood by far. After that Roadkill Morning.

Imo, IYWP... PFW isn't brutal at all. Maybe a little above average in Bodom's catalog.

I'll vouch for Halo of Blood as well. Easily their most brutal in both technical and feeling value. Blooddrunk has many heavy songs as well. Lobodomy comes to mind... that song is almost a little too heavy for it's own good.

AYDY has a ton of heavy riffs, but the actual songs themselves always have these upbeat parts that break the illusion. I actually think IYWPPFW is pretty brutal, at least compared to the rest of the songs. In Your Face is more angst than brutality. Title track(AYDY) is heavy, but has many cooldown moments. Sixpounder from HCDR could be on here as well.

Not their most brutal song, but Mask of Sanity has their heaviest moment in my opinion(the breakdown, you know the one).

Right. In my opinion it's:

-HoB
-Lobodomy
-IYYP...PFW

If you want peace is a bit more consistent than Lobodomy, but Lobodomy has it's moments of madness which knocks it above in my opinion.

I think we could expect more brutal songs like HoB since Alexi said it could be his favorite Bodom song.

Anything on AYDY and BD, Taste of my scythe has that intro, mask of sanity's breakdown. Sixpounder and Lil blood red riding hood have some heavy parts, too.

Man, this is a though one. The most "brutal" in my opinion is either blooddrunk or bastards of bodom.

Maybe Hatebreeder, I think that one's sweet, emotional anger. There are songs that sound angry, but when you analyze deeper, for example Hellhounds On My trail, that one's about being haunted, thus the aggressive elements have a different purpose that's cleverly expressed as music. You have songs about self-destruction and all these different themes. In Your Face is another aggressive song, but it's served with a touch of politeness in lyrical content, whereas Hatebreeder is a more primitive form of malice unleashed, kicking your opponent in the ground and ramming over him/her with a truck. By the time the ending solos come in there's only party left after dealing with the anger. Knuckleduster is also confidently powerful in anger, but ask yourself what song would you listen to if you were feeling extremely pissed off. There's so many it's hard to pick one.

It's not so simple as some music that's meant to deal aggressive issues doesn't really feel aggressive, and some musical pieces sound aggressive despite that not being the purpose... I'd say the most aggressive-feeling tracks to me are:

Deadnight Warrior
Red Light In My Eyes 1
Hatebreeder
Children of Decadence
Sixpounder
Lil' Bloodred Ridin' Hood
Knuckleduster
Living Dead Beat
In Your Face
Hellhounds On My Trail
One Day You Will Cry
Shovel Knockout
Halo of Blood

In my opinion the most brutal CoB song is Lobodomy. That one just simply kicks your face in with sheer force of heaviness and nothing else.

Guys what are your criterias to judge a song as brutal? everybody has its own vision about that so for me brutality is about energitic fast technical riffing blown on your face.
nothing to do with dark feelings. on that basis i picked up If you want peace .. prepare for war.

There's no real brutal COB song for me. A few songs got some "brutal" sections like IYWP, PMS and LB but COB is more a party band.
Brutal is metal in your face to tell a simple definition.

Btw: When you try to mix the intro from AYDY, the PMS bridge, LB verse and IYWP intro (not in a specific order) and adjust the speed a bit, it sounds really "brutal" on guitar!

Can someone honestly say songs like Deadnight Warrior, Hatebreeder, Sixpounder, Knuckleduster, Hellhounds, In Your Face... aren't brutal? Sure the aggressive COB tracks aren't just brainless mashing, there's always some interesting ways to interpret the anger. There's confidence (Knuckleduster solo), there's unpredictable violence (Sixpounder intro), there's a moment of surprise (Deadnight Warrior, don't know from which side the knife is coming), there's an unearthly demonic mysteriousness (Hatebreeder), there's inner haunting (Hellhounds), there's a battle of egos (In Your Face)... This is what makes the band's music special, it feels like there's a story or emotion in the music. Enough bands in the world where the tracks are just a mixmash of pointless riffs glued together and given a pointless title. I'm sorry for the other bands but this is why they can't beat COB in awesomeness.

Yeah Bodom isn't a very brutal band to me either, they've got some heavy parts but nothing that's like straight up death-metal brutality. LoBodomy and HoB are the ones I'd say are most brutal though. Like the difference between Death and Bodom is that it isn't possible to not headbang to Death, but you can hold back Bodom

It is all relative. For me there are some aggresive songs, but brutal? It is Azarath territory.
